Compounding Car Expenses

It's been an action-packed week for me and my car. On Friday, April 21st, I was carjacked at gunpoint. The thief jumped in the car with me, pulled a gun, forced me out, then drove away with my stuff inside.
Fortunately, police recovered the car on Saturday morning. They had to process it for evidence, but they were able to release it to me on Tuesday, April 25th.
Almost all of my possessions were still inside the car, which is a huge relief. The thief still had the keys, though, which means changing the car's locks as soon as possible. That's not simple or cheap.
I also needed to get the car detailed, because some hostile stranger had been in there doing who-knows-what. Yuck.
As if that all wasn't enough, my car had one more stunt to pull.
On Wednesday, April 26th, in a truly tragic coincidence, my brake line ruptured. I had to get the car towed to a shop, where it's currently stuck awaiting expensive repairs.
Normally, I'd have the buffer to cover something like this. This is not a normal week.
I have been planning and saving for a big medical procedure for nearly 8 months. I committed the funds and had the procedure done Monday (April 24). Quite separately, I've been planning and budgeting a vacation for 2+ months, which happens to start tomorrow (April 28). I can handle both of these huge expenses at the same time, but I have no margin for error.
My car just blasted through that margin.
The $1000 target for this campaign covers brake line repairs, re-keying the locks and ignition, and deep-cleaning the interior. These expenses are all right on top of each other, so I need help fast.
Thank you so much for your kind words and support so far. I truly appreciate it. I hate to bring up the money side of things, but every little bit will help get me and my overly dramatic car through the next few weeks.
