Community Storm Shelter Lee Rd 38

Donation protected
My name is Chris Cox and I grew up on Lee rd 38 and the damage from the tornado was overwhelming. Lives were lost and people felt helpless. Minutes after the tornado the community pulled together and without question was willing to help. I also want to help in another way. The people who lived on 38 had nowhere to go for safety. Most people were in mobile homes but in that storm it didn't matter. Houses were lost too. I am here to try to give people a chance. I am willing to install four storm shelters on my property on Lee road 38.  It will be located on lee road 38 and open for people needing shelter. It will give people a piece of mind knowing that they would have a chance. Not everyone can afford a storm shelter and that is understandable. Not being able to afford a shelter should not be based on ones income. You cannot put a price on a life. One life is too many much less 23. It is my mission to prevent another preventable storm injury or death. Another parent should not have to bury another child or a child have to bury a parent. Theses losses are preventable. Together we can make sure this does not happen again.  I do not live on the property and I will not use the shelters for personal use. I am doing this 100% for the community that I was born and raised. Thanks for your time.
