Collin is an amazing 6 year old boy who was just diagnosed with a Wilms tumor, which is cancer on the kidneys, over Thanksgiving. He has one large tumor on his left kidney and will have surgery to remove it and the kidney on Tuesday, November 27th. The diagnosis of malignant cancer won't be confirmed until the biopsy is done during surgery but he may need chemotherapy and radiation still. Brandon, Terri, Collin and Ellie are in Tennessee, visiting family for Thanksgiving, so they are away from their home and job. Insurance is covering most of the current expenses for this calendar year, but there is still is the added expenses of food, transportation etc and right at the holidays. If you can please consider donating any amount to this wonderful family to help during this difficult time it would be greatly appreciated .

Hey Collin’s Crew!

Recently Collin took a step backwards, and now has a feeding tube and several new meds. We now have home medical equipment and formula, as well as his hospitalizations and regular treatment plan to cover.

Please continue to share his story, in hopes that people feel led to help support us either monetarily, or through prayers.

We love and appreciate you all!

The past couple of weeks have been hard on Collin and his family. He is undergoing chemotherapy treatments and doesnt feel well. Losing his hair has also been hard on him but he is such an amazing little guy and keeps going. Please continue to pray for healing, for him to feel well through treatment, for guidance for the Doctors and staff and for peace and comfort for Terri and Brandon as they give their all for their son.

Yesterday Collin was diagnosed with a stage 3 Wilms Tumor. The doctors are recommending 6 months of chemotherapy and 10 sessions of radiation. With this treatment he has a very favorable rate of success of 85-90%. If he continues to do well they will be able to go home next week and transfer his care to CHOA. Collin is truly a superhero and is doing so well with reaching his goals each day!

Collins surgery to remove the tumor and his left kidney was longer than they anticipated. The tumor was larger, had begun its own venious system, had lesions and had spillage as it was removed. These mean he will have to undergo chemotherapy and radiation The doctors placed his port for chemotherapy during surgery yesterday. Collin is brave and handling all this as well as he can. All of the tubes and wire are irritating him and his Sensory Processing Disorder but the hospital is working to help keep him calm and comfortable with a really awesome sensory tool with music, fiber optics, bubbles, mirrors etc. Thank you everyone who has donated already. Please keep sharing and praying.
