College laptop - development & IT major, AI minor

I have worked in the past, but I could not due to being in psychiatric care for an extended period of time, due to psychosis. Now that I'm finally well enough to get out in public again, I can continue to work on my future - by restarting my study, which I had to stop when I started having issues.

For developing applications in C, C#, C++, JavaScript and more programming languages, having a capable laptop with good specifications is a must. The college track I'm in is aimed at developing applications and artificial intelligence, both requiring this. College tuition drained my savings and now I need to have a dedicated machine, which I cannot afford.

All help is greatly appreciated. You will be helping me secure my future and hopefully, in the end, this will help me get a job and decent future.
