We are a creative collective based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and we need YOUR help! South Florida is an area comprised of thought provoking ideas within brilliant, noteworthy minds. We want to unite South Floridian creative thinkers and artists while enhancing our community through their talents and philanthropy.
Our next art show, 'Idiot Boys,' will be held in Fort Lauderdale, FL on Thursday May 1, 2014. Don't let the name fool you, smart boys welcome! This show has a bold focus on the irreplaceable talent that women offer to the arts and culture of our city. We will be donating 50% of all art sold during our silent auction to the local non-profit organization, 'Strong Women, Strong Girls.' Additional funds we raise will go to covering costs of supplies, transportation, and compensation for the talent we bring in.
Artists don't deserve to be starving. The human race would be hard pressed in the absence of technology and medicine, but what would living be worth without art to evolve us? Shows like these ensure noteriety and longevity for little-known talent that should be widely recognized.
Your help is vital to the success not only of this, but of all subsequent art shows we intened to produce going forward in the formation of our collective.
This isn't solely pertainant to us, but even more so, to our city.
In short, we aim to entertain.
