To whom it my concern,

I’m writing this letter in the hope of receiving some financial support for my daughter degree studies.

She an 18 years old girl, grown up by a single mother and her aunt (my sister). Her father left us when she was at edge 4. I am a construction engineer- specialization in mechanic installation. After divorce I starts to look for jobs outside of our country to afford to raise my child. She was living with her aunt and I was sending money for her needs and education.

She like to learn, to read, to know as much is possible for the entire world around her, that’s why she was always between the first in the school. She participates to many academic competitions regional and national, representing her school and returning back with recognition diplomas for her academic performance. She like to help people in need, especially the orphans or the children with special needs/handicaps that need to know someone care about them, that’s why she got involved in many voluntarists activities, starting from middle school. The latest interventions were in high school, when she made sure she will bring a smile on the faces of the children from the Special School no.1 and of those from Casa Ioana (children with special needs/handicap). Then in 2016-2017 she helped raise funds for Casa Ioana through the “Opportunity Weekend” Project that supports non-formal education among young people.

These projects launched her personality; are the project in which she learned what it means to work in a team, responsibility, trust, leadership and above all, the principle of non-formal education. she hase a strong character and she is used to struggle for what she wants. Parallel with this she was part of Local Government for Teenagers District 2, Bucharest, representing interests of teenagers, starting different educational projects, to involve more teenagers to attend voluntarist’s events, to guide them how to find different extracurricular courses: academic, sportive, artistic; to help the to discover their vocation, their talents.

She chooses to study Criminal Law due to the fact that she is a person who has a strong sense of justice. The study of crime, society’s response to it and ways to prevent it are all areas that have interested her from her teenage years. For her the reasons for criminal behavior and breaking the law are varied and interesting; it’s an area that she wants to learn more about.
Her ambition in the future is to possibly join the police force, work with young offenders or be the case prosecutor.

Presently she hase been admitted by 5 top universities in United Kingdom

UWE: BA(Hons) Criminology and Law
University of Suffolk: LLB (Hons) Law with Criminology
Teesside University: BSc (Hons) Criminology with Law
London South Bank University: Criminal Law LLB (Hons)
5.      University of South Wales: LLB (Hons) Law with Criminology and Criminal Justice

From all of them she chooses to become student of London South Bank University.

The financial situation brought me in the position of searching private scholarship or donation for supporting her study costs. We have already applied for Tuition fee Loan that will cover the University fees, but we still need financial support for accommodation and leaving expenses that appear by being out of home and especially in a big city like London.

At request I can provide you all the academic prove, the last school situation, the baccalaureate exam resultants (9,46 from maximum 10,00), the diplomas for academic school competition she won, the IELTS diploma, the diploma from Goethe Institute that prove her German language level, the acceptance letters from all 5 university’s, voluntarist diplomas, recommendations letter from teachers, personal documents that proves the parents are divorced and I have her full custody, my work contract with the monthly income, all other documents requested.
