Hurricane Maria: Dominica Relief

I am raising money for the disaster recovery effort for my home village of Colihaut, Dominica .
Hurricane Maria has devastated the island, leaving roofs and building structures damaged and there is no electricity or phone connection. Many lives have been lost and the surviors are in a state of despair. The majority of the population have no financial means to recover. Dominica is in desperate and immediate need of medical supplies, water and food.
Updated Phased Approach:
Phase1: Secure and Ship a 20 ft countainer with supplies and food. This is the level of aid that is needed. There are many collection drives planned so please check my facebook page or call me. There are many others assiting in this effort and we need all the help that we can get.
Phase 2: Provide financial asssitance with the restoring effort once food and supplies have been distributed.
