Make Aaron's wish come true!

Aaron Dumas is a 6th grader in Nottingham living with Cystic Fibrosis, but more importantly he is a sweet, thoughtful, creative 11 year old boy who deserves all the joys of childhood!  Because of this the Make-a-Wish Foundation will be granting Aaron's wish for a heated pool in his backyard this month.  This pool will no doubt bring years of fun in a safe enviornment for Aaron, but also help him with his therapy from April thru October of each year.

While Make-a-wish is providing the pool and the labor for installing the pool, it turns out there is going to be some need for tree removal which would inevitably be at a cost to Aaron's family.  Several Nottinghamers, friends and family are willing to step up to cut down trees and haul brush.  And once again, Gary and Deb Cowan of Hillside Landscaping have offered to donate their time and expertise to rent and run the equipment needed.  The rough estimate for renting an excavator and chipper is about $1200...this is where you all come in!

Aaron's wish should be a purely magical thing for all of the Dumas'; it should not impose any burden. So let's rally around this great cause and the Dumas family and remind them and each of us why  we chose to live and raise our children in Nottingham.
