CDA Warriors Wrestling Equipment&Uniforms

The Warriors are a small but mighty wrestling club. Coach Tony Bova, the CDA Tribe Youth Sports Program and also in partner with the WA Liberty Youth Wrestling Club, re-established the Wellness Center Warriors in the fall wrestling season of 2018. The wrestling club includes youth from age 5-14 years old.
It has been years since our community has had a wrestling program. Most of the kids had no wrestling experience BUT this did not keep the Warriors from dominating their comeback season. The hard work of the coaches and wrestlers was evident during the fall season. Our kids brought home a number of medals, some had an undefeated season, and some only lost to their teammates.
During the spring season the Warriors became Knights with the Liberty Youth Wrestling Club for the WA Little Guys Wrestling Season. This league did offer more competition but our kids still worked hard and earned every medal they brought home.
Without our partners/teammates the Liberty Knights our kids would not have had wrestling singlets. We are grateful to them for letting our kids borrow their uniforms during the fall season. We would like to raise enough funds to get our kids their own Warriors singlets or "uniforms" by the time the 2019 Fall Season begins.
We would also like to purchase new wrestling mats for the kids since the ones that we have are not exactly functional for the space where our  practices are held. We utilize the Marimn Wellness Center and they also house a lot of other youth and adult wellness activities. We need mats that are better suited for needs of our club. Even though some of our kids will tell you that, "the best thing about a basketball court is when it's covered with wrestling mats," that just isn't a possibility for our small club.
These kids have come a long way and their love for wrestling has grown into more than just a pastime. Some of the kids have goals to someday become a high school state champion and even further hopes to make a college team. There are even a select few that have dreams of being part of the USA Olympic Team. We teach them that with hard work and a good attitude anything is possible.
I appreciate you reading this and if you could donate to the Warriors Wrestling Club we would appreciate your donation. If you are not able to donate we will also be holding various fundraisers throughout the summer.
