Cody's Medical Fund

EDIT: I realize that the original post is a bit vague about the injuries Cody faced and the journey he has ahead of him. I originally did this on purpose out of respect for Cody as I'm not sure he would want his story so public. However, I've realized that people who are not close to this issue may not grasp how serious his condition is, or how long he is going to have to be in the hospital as a result. Cody sustained several injuries after being ejected out of the truck he was riding in. He received 2 skull fractures, severe head trauma, 7 broken ribs, 1 collapsed lung, 1 partially collapsed lung, a laceration to his liver, and 2 lacerations to his right kidney. He has improved quite a bit since the accident - his liver and kidney are not longer bleeding, and he was able to have both chest tubes removed. However, the most concerning of his injuries is his head trauma. Cody is not conscious and we are not sure when he will be. So far our time at the hospital has been long periods of waiting for some small improvement or update from his nurses and doctor. We do not have a lot of information yet, so as of right now we have no clue how long he will be in the hospital. It could be weeks, months, or even a year. The money donated will go towards our parents travel expenses as they have to continually return home to care for our younger brother. They will also go to paying for Cody's personal expenses while he is out of work, and his hospital bills. ~ORIGINAL POST~ If you know Cody, you know that the photo above describes him perfectly. He is funny, full of life, and SO loved. Cody was in an automobile accident early Sunday morning and received a lot of serious injuries. He is currently in critical condition and receiving the best care possible. Even so, he has a long recovery road ahead of him and with that, medical bills. Our family is hoping to use this money in a variety of ways including travel costs, Cody's medical costs, and his personal expenses as he will be out of work for quite some time.
