Cody and Anne Wells IVF Fund

Cody and Anne have been married for 12 years and actively trying to conceive for 7 years.  Cody is an active U.S. Army Soldier and Anne is a U.S. Army veteran of 7 years.

As you may know, deployments, training events, and more deployments have interfered in their quest for offspring. In 2013, they began infertility treatments with their doctors at Fort Knox, KY. Two years later, Cody was deployed to South Korea, putting a halt on their ventures for yet another year. Upon returning to the United States, they moved to Fort Bragg, NC; Cody and Anne had to start their journey all over again, this time through the Veterans Affairs, as treatments in the Army are limited to chemical hormone regulation.

After several appointments and referrals from the VA, they started intrauterine insemination procedures including many injections, uncomfortable procedures, and embarrassing "deposits" with no success.

Both Cody and Anne are considered healthy in the eyes of medicine--their unsuccessful attempts are unexplainable. Their reproductive endocrinologist hypothesizes that they only way they are able to have children is through intracytoplasmic sperm injection, a specific type of In vitro fertilization where an individual sperm is injected via a needle directly into the ovum.

As you can imagine, this is a costly procedure. Cody and Anne have been saving since they found out the cost, however, they are still in need of financial assistance from you.

The procedure is scheduled to occur in January 2019 and the entire amount is due before the appointment. Cody and Anne greatly appreciate any and all donations. They are hoping to raise $15,000. This will cover the egg retrieval, sperm injection, embryonic development and implantation, as well as cryogenic freezing of any additional embryos. It will also help cover expenses of time lost from Anne's job, medication, and travel.

They realize it is the holiday season, but pray that you will consider giving as your Christmas gift to them, as life is the greatest gift of all.
