We are raising money to support a K9 program here in Coalinga. Adding a K9 to our police department will be instrumental in helping combat the drug problem and crime.
We will be purchasing a dog from Evolution Dog Training Center, as many departments in the Valley have done. This is a chance for our community to come together and send a message to the criminals that they are not welcome here. Let’s all get together as a team and make this happen.
The $10,500 is specifically for the dog and there will be many more costs along the way. We are currently operating under the non-profit status of the Coalinga Community Foundation. The City Council and Chief of Police have already approved this plan. This will be funded entirely with private donations and will not use any tax payer dollars. Please help and support us. Thank you!
