Services for our Coach, our Hero!

My name is Heber Marquez and through out the years I was Alan's coach, then friend, and godfather; we were like brothers.
If you think of Alan we are sure you picture him with a huge smile, always optimistic and wanting to help anyone he came in contact with or you can picture him running.

Alan was and remains an influencial figure in our community. He coached countless youth as we took on cross country seasons and prepared for the LA Marathon through SRLA.

Through it all, Alan battled with melanoma, a devastating form of skin cancer. Not once did Alan look at his situation through a sorrow-filled perspective, but rather he remained optimistic, hopeful, and in turn, everyone who came into contact with him was genuinely inspired.

On Thursday, October 26, 2017, Alan passed at the young age of 23.
This has taken a huge toll on the family. As Alan's youth and people who loved him dearly, we are asking for your help to raise funds to help his family. Funds will be given to the family in a check so they may cover the expenses.
