Thank you for supporting Coach Rob Lorenzen and his journey to fight his recent diagnosis with cancer. If you don't personally know Rob Lorenzen please let me tell you about this amazing person who is a Godsend to our community.
Rob has spent many years as the adapted phys-ed teacher at Thomas A Wildey school. A school for children with disabilities. Rob has also been a high school football coach for the last 15 years or so. If you can't already tell Rob Lorenzen leads our community with a servants heart.
For those of you who didn’t play football let me tell you that a football coach is much more than someone who makes you run laps or teaches you to play a game. Coaches are people who help mold boys into men. I learned hard work, respect, dedication, self worth and how to be a part of something bigger than myself.
I’m a better man, husband and father because I had men like Rob Lorenzen as a teacher in my life. I know that Rob has had the same impact on many young people in our community. His coaching and teachings will impact his students for generations as his unparalleled character shines through them. As parents, students, players and members of this community we lean on people like Rob to help shape our youth for the better. Please join me in supporting him and his family through this chapter in their life. Our goal is to let Rob know that we love him, appreciate him and that we will be right here beside him, like he has done for so many of us.
