Just before 2:00  a.m. this morning,  our dear friends, Doug and Jessica Middleton, lost their home to a devastating fire. Thankfully and to God be the glory, Doug, Jessica, and their three children are safe as they were able to escape. Sadly, they lost their entire home and all their belongings. If you feel led to do so, please consider donating to the GoFundMe page we have created in their honor so that we can help the Middletons.

I just wanted to thank each of you for going above and beyond to bless the Middleton family. Your gift will go to help them rebuild and restore items that were lost. We can't thank you all enough for reaching out via email and GoFundMe to be an encouragement during this time. My prayer right now is that we can keep sharing and allow others to pray and give as well. Please share if you haven't already. May God bless you all for your willingness to stand in the gap right now for the Middleton family!

Thank you to all that have donated and helped the Middleton Family through this devastating time. As you can imagine, they lost everything. Fortunately they have amazing family, friends, and community that has been by their side this entire time and will continue to be. Through your generosity they will be able to start the rebuilding process and getting back to a sense of normalcy. Thankfully, and above all, God was watching over them and everyone got out.

At this time, Doug and Jessica are trying to re-establish by applying for IDs, license, passports, replacement birth certificates, talking to their banks to get access to their accounts, and working with the credit card folks.

What will happen from here is that I, Sam Vazquez, Jessica’s brother and Doug’s brother-in-law, will be handling the Go Fund Me Finances. I have personally met most of you and look forward to meeting all the others and personally thanking you. I have talked to both Doug and Jessica and this is their wish.

Moving forward, I will establish an account locally where all the funds will be deposited and I will withdrawal cash or write checks for Doug and Jessica as they start purchasing their three kids (my two wonderful nephews, Brock and Mason, and amazing niece, Elena) clothes, shoes, school essentials, toys, books, prescriptions, eye glasses, as well as getting Doug and Jess clothes, shoes, and everything else that is needed to re-make their home. Once Doug and Jess are more settled and have access to their bank accounts I will provide them the rest of the balance.

My heart is full of gratitude and humbleness at the outreach and immediate assistance everyone has provided....we will forever be grateful. Your generosity has helped bring them peace and a way to start that has allowed them to focus on healing, and family.

Thank you.
