I am grateful for everyone who helped us get to $5k. We've pushed the goal to $10k with plans to visit neighborhoods in Aguadilla, Moca, Lares, Utuado, Adjuntas, and Jayuya.

After hurricane Maria, Puerto Rico is in dire need of clean water. The latest reports say that 3.5 million residents are still without clean drinking water.
Instead of spending time and rescources sending water bottles, I personally am bringing inexpensive, light, reusable water filters called Sawyer mini to the island.
This will ensure that the most amount of people are getting water, while reducing the price and waste.
Unlike donations to national organizations that can take months to distribute rescources and funds, your support will have immediate and substantial impact in Puerto Rico.
I will be as transparent as possible and update this page when I book the flight and when I buy the filters. Also I will do my best to document my experience in Puerto Rico during my stay and upon my return.
