Can You Help Me

In 2008 when I was 25 I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. After surviving my illness I was left with a number of disabilities and on medication. I unfortunately also lost my job and unable to do the job I had before, it was a terrible feeling that I'd failed.

I was left trying to have a purpose. I really didn't want to feel sorry for myself and so I set up a support website called Aunty M Brain Tumours. It is free and I earn nothing from my sites i just love helping others and encouraging them.

I was given a volunteering role at a award winning local radio station Croydon Radio in 2013 and I used the platform to interview other brain tumour patients and share their stories on my websites and social media.

One of my interviews in 2013 was with a brain cancer warrior Andrew, who was in the UK from America and was working on a documentary about his battle with having cancer 3 times.

We had an instant conection, a love at first sight conection. It was an amazing feeling but we knew our love would struggle as neither of us were in a position to up and move abroad. We've managed to stay really great friends and talk most days to see how we are getting on.

Sadly Andrew has been diagnosed again with a possible 4th tumour  (Grade 3 Oligodendroglioma).

I truly want to be there for him and we want to spend some time together while he is going through this but we both don't have the funds.

That is why I am reaching out to ask for help. I have very little to give away except my true gratitude.

I'm looking for funds for the flight insurance, flights and accommodation for Andrew and I in Rhode Island by Rhode Island Hospital for 10days.
