Harold Mehuren

Please read ALL the updates and messages everyday to get a true status update on Harolds condition.  Things have changed drastically for the worst from his original condition and the family is unsure of the road they are headed down and need all the help they can get!!

On July 27, Harold was in an accident involving his tractor.  He is currently in the hospital and each day his progress changes.  He has four broken ribs with multiple breaks on them along with a bruised lung.  His oxygen levels are extremely low and his lung is not working properly.  He has had one surgery so far to drain off some blood/fluid that is preventing his lung from expanding, but he is not improving the way he should and we are all quite concerned.  His breathing is very labored, he is in extreme amounts of pain, and very disoriented, but he is in good spirits and just wants to get home to his dogs.  Harold is a self employed logger and it is likely that he will not be going back to work any time in the near future.  His wife, Terry, is unable to work herself so they are at the risk of going quite some time with little to no income.  The ever increasing bills and the unknown expenses that lie ahead have already started to take there toll on them financially with no end in sight.
