Help a Hero

Donation protected
Late tuesday night, Kevin Brotzman woke up to find his house full of smoke. He gathered his family and exited the home with nothing other than what they were wearing while sleeping. The fire had a head start,  and the home was fully involved before emergency crews could extinguish it. Kevin has been a member of the Rio Vista Volunteer fire department for approximately five years, where he got his EMT license and was quickly hired by Careflite. While serving his home community and county as an EMT, Kevin has also attended paramedic school. He is married with two children, one being a toddler. He also supports other family members in his home.

Kevin has given so much time and effort to this community, and it is now our time to give to him during this tragedy. Imagine not having the keys to your vehicle, phone, or the basic necessity of clothing. No amount is too small, and I am sure that we can beat our goal.

Thank you in advance from the Officers and Members of the Rio Vista Volunteer Fire Department for helping a hero in a time of need.
