CJ's Trip to the American Open

I am Woody, the Rockwall Weightlifting Club Coach, and this is a fundraiser to help CJ make the trip to compete at the American Open (USA Weightlifting) in Reno, Nevada. The Rockwall Weightlifting Club is free to all athletes at CrossFit Rockwall, so the club does not have any stream of income for events or travel. This is a great way to give back and support the local lifters!
CJ is a college student working towards his nursing degree and can often be found riding his bike to CrossFit Rockwall, where he coaches and trains.
In September, CJ and his wife, Haley, hopped in their car and made the 20 hour drive to Ogden, Utah, to compete at the University National Championships held at Weber State University. In the competition, CJ made 5 out of 6 lifts and hit personal competition records in the Snatch, Clean & Jerk, and total, earning him a spot at the American Open.
The money raised from this fundraiser will be used to help pay for the following:
1) CJ's expenses (flight and hotel)
2) my expenses
3) Haley's expenses
4) any money raised above the expenses needed for traveling to the American Open will go to the Rockwall Weightlifting Club.
The American Open will be held December 3 - 6, and CJ and I will be very grateful for your donation.
If you're willing to donate, I don't want you to walk away empty handed. Any donation over $25 will get you the new Rockwall Weightlifting Club T-shirt. We expect the T-shirts to be ready before December 1. In addition to a shirt, you can choose from a number of other services we are offering. Be sure to check out all of the options because there are some good ones!
