Circumnavigation Sailing Race

Hello everyone, my name is Lori McDonald and I am the owner of Gypsy's Apothecary ; a small mobile business that provides wellness services and sailing adventures as a US Coast Guard licensed captain. I am raising funds to participate in the 2019-2020 Clipper Around the World Yachting Race a complete circumnavigation.
The money will be used for race entry fees, advanced training, transportation, business expenses, equipment, visas, medical certifications and licensing required to successfully complete the 11 month race. Funding is necessary as soon as possible. I am doing this race to promote and raise awareness for The Ocean Cleanup Project to passively remove plastics out of our ocean gyres. I am not affliated with but will donate left over or excess funds to The Ocean Cleanup project.
The importance of cleaning our oceans is immeasurable to me and is impossible to put into written emotion. Drawing awareness to what the Ocean Cleanup Project is undertaking will have incredible positive impacts for the quality of our ocean resources as well as a massive move toward reducing pollution oriented global warming. Detoxification and homeostasis is the focal point of Gypsy's Apothecary and these same concepts of nurturing are desperately needed at an environmentally global level. My gratefulness in allowing me to participate in bringing in just a little more forward awareness of how to care for our environment, will push me to dig deeper and continue to spend my life bettering as much as I can touch. I hope this concept inspires others to create more projects and technology to improve humanity and its atmosphere.SaveSave
