Foster Kids In GA Need Us

In the United States we have 500,00 children in Foster Care who have been abused ,abondoned and severly neglected. Many have been beaten, starved and have suffered unimaginable pain that no child should ever have to experience in their young life.
Approximately 1200 of these children in foster care right now come from our community and the surrounding communties in our service area, which is the Department of Children and Family Services Region 5 plus Putnam County. Each year the number of children continues to rise and yet the number of foster homes have decreased by almost 50% in recent years. The Department of Children and Family Services simply does no have enough options for alternative housing. Our service area is one of the most desperate areas in Georgia in need of alternative housing for these children who must be removed from their homes.
Circle Ranch was incorporated and became a 501c3 in Jan 2015. Our Board Member and volunteers worked feverishly throughout 2015 to introduce Circle Ranch into the community and bring awareness of the desperate need.
We began our fund raising in 2016 and have been very blessed with the support and generosity from so many within the community but we still have a ways to go.
We are presently searching for land that will adaptable for this type of facility. We hope to purchase approximately 75 acres at an estimated price of $3,000 per acre. The cost for the land would be $225,000 plus $25,000 for beginning land development. We must first own the land in order to move forward. Once the land is purchased we will be able to apply for grants to help build the ranch ,also other organization and entities will also be willing to help with the ranch's development.
OUR GOAL FOR 2017 IS TO RAISE THE FUNDS TO PURCHASE LAND but we need your help. Won't you please help us acquire this land so we can move toward the reality of being able to give these children a stable loving family enviroment with unconditional love and a chance to heal and begin to break the
cycles of abandonment, abuse and neglect.
Together we can do this for the children who are in desperate need of our help!
