Annika 2014 - She needs us

We get small moments of joy time to time, and when we stop to enjoy those moments, sometimes they fly right by. I can imagine everyone has their story and time when they need some help and right now Annika needs us, she is the joy in our lives and we don’t want this one to fly by.
Today she has been diagnosed once again with a Brain Tumor. Unlike last time this one is fairly large and aggressive, her surgery is scheduled for this month and possibly in 2 parts, the first being rather extensive. Her Parents are currently seeking any and all ways to make sure Annika is going to be in the best hands possible and at the same time live every moment to the fullest.
She was first diagnosed with cancer at 3 years of age in 2010, where they were able to remove the brain tumor, and she underwent radiation and chemotherapy. For the first few years everything was looking good. With her family and friends watching after her nutrition, health, and therapy while sending her lots of prayers, she was well on her way. Unfortunately, last week at her annual exam they found an emergence of another tumor this time on the other side of her brain and larger. The Doctors are going to try as much as possible to remove all of it, but this time Annika and her family will be seeking alternative therapy, clinical trials, and treatment types that her insurance likely will not cover. That’s where you can help us. We are seeking a fund to offer Annika and her Family the best chance she can get to fight off this Tumor, and at the same time give this little girl the most joy possible while in this situation. Your money will go toward access to alternative treatments, clinical trials, transportation, accommodations, and helping her mind and body heal, but to a little girl of 7 years old, some of that healing is going to be with things she loves and laughs with, so pitch in towards some of the top Alternative medicines available or send her on a weekend trip to bring her a smile. Your love and support will shine through her smiles.
This little girl is not motivated by money, recognition, or by ego, she is simply a joy and a blessing to have in our lives, and reminds us every day we see her.
