Chuy Souza Camacho

Hello Friends, Family, Members of Ravinia Green Country Club, and the Club Corp Family. 
I'm reaching out to you because I am starting a GoFundMe for Chuy Souza. Chuy is one of the lead servers at Ravinia Green Country Club, where I work, but more importantly, he is a beloved friend and co-worker. 
A few days before Chuy’s 33rd birthday, he suffered a massive heart attack and has been in a coma. Chuy has been surrounded by his loving family and friends since his admittance into the hospital. His parents flew in from Mexico and have not left his side. 
Chuy is an individual who takes great pride in living a healthy and holistic way of life. The Sousa family has a history of heart disease which unfortunately affected Chuy at a young age. When visiting him, there are glimmers of hope in how he reacts to hearing voices and to feeling someone’s touch. He is on life support to help aid in his breathing and in the function of his heart, but he is doing the majority of the work on his own. He has a long way to go and while there are no definitive answers, we are all full of hope! 
We are collecting donations for Chuy and his family to aid in medical expenses, Chuy’s financial obligations, and other expenses that may occur due to his condition.
Anyone who has been blessed enough to meet Chuy, knows that he is an amazing person! He is the essence of the bright spots of life and exudes positivity! I ask that if you’re able to donate, please help him and his family. Update: After talking to Chuy's parents and Brother Salvador confirmed the funds will be used to fly Chuy back home to Mexico and to aid in any medical expenses the family and Chuy may need along the way. The funds will be given to Chuy's parents and brother Salvador directly to handle the Private flight fees and his hospital bills. They have not left his side and have been in constant contact with us with updates on Chuy and his progress. Estoy contactandolos porque estoy comenzando un GoFundMe para Chuy Souza. Chuy es uno de los camareros principales de Ravinia Green Country Club, donde trabajo, pero, lo que es más importante, es un amigo y compañero de trabajo muy querido.

Al visitarlo, hay destellos de esperanza en cómo reacciona al escuchar las voces y al sentir el toque de alguien. Él se encuentra conectado a un respirador artificial para ayudarlo a respirar y en la función de su corazón, pero está haciendo la mayor parte del trabajo por su cuenta. Él tiene un largo camino por recorrer y, si bien no hay respuestas definitivas, ¡todos estamos llenos de esperanza!
Estamos recolectando donaciones para que Chuy y su familia reciban ayuda para los gastos médicos, las obligaciones financieras de Chuy y otros gastos que pueden ocurrir debido a su condición.
