Please help save our church

After two world wars and 40 years of neglect, there wasn't much left of our church, certainly not enough to use it as a community center for our small congregation in Bielen, Germany. For now 21 years, our certified charity raised enough funds to turn our ruins into a church again. Yet, there are still two major projects left to completion: We would like to reinstall the pulpit, which had to be removed due to major moisture damage caused by a leaky roof. Also, our church used to have a pipe organ, which also suffered major damage during the last century. Especially the pulpit is a project very dear to Mr. Gerstenberger, our former pastor and founder of our charity. Tirelessly has he been working for the  restauration of our church. Oskar, a young member of our congregation, taught himself how to play the piano, just so he could accompany the weekly services on his e-piano. Having a pipe organ again would certainly add another dimension of quality and reverberation to his musical talents.  If you decide to support our efforts, your contribution will not only be of financial importance, but will also convey a message to those who have been working really hard and put their hearts and souls into the rebuilding of our historic church. Thank you for considering to help us reach our goals!
