Church Van or Bus for Children

Children come to church on the bus/van every Wednesday evening.   Without transportation they are unable to attend church.  The bus is rusting out both inside and outside and has too many miles on it making it unsafe for long distance driving.  If the bus dies we lose our children.   Garden City, Michigan is a low income neighborhood.   Most of the church members are elderly and on a fixed income and then we have children with no income at all so we have been unable to raise the funds necessary to buy a new or used bus.   We only have one 12 passenger van.   We have 26 children in attendance.   If we could raise enough funds to replace the existing van and purchase a second van we can grow our children's ministry and teach our children and future generations about God, Jesus and salvation.  The situation is urgent.   We've put many bandaids on the problem but not sure how much longer we can do that before the van breaks down completely.  Additionally, winter and freezing tempatures pose additional challenges on older vehicles.
