chronic ischemic colitis bypas

My mum Jill for the past 12 months has gone down hill. Time and time again she went to the doctor complaining of pain , nausea and constant vomiting when she ate.  She had test after test, from scans, colonoscopys to endoscopies, she had visits to cardiologists and no One could figure out what was wrong with her. Finally one day I took her to the emergency room as she could hardly walk, her weight had dropped from 60 to 45 her blood pressure was through the roof and they quickly rushed her in.  Once they had her there they did all the usual test , the same as before but this time they did a full catscan/mri... And at least we had a name... Chronic ischemic colitis.  My mum was a lot worse than what we expected, they explained all her arteries were blocked from her ribcage down and the lack of blood getting to her heart was causing the issue.  All the arteries that ran from her heart to her organs were blocked, they said it was so rare that only 1% of people have this issue. We were told the operation would be at least at 8 to 10 hours and the outcome was not that high. But we stayed positive and began the process of getting her ready. In the mean time my mum had to stop working her causal job which meant no sick leave., and the stress of bills and rent began.. the time bomb has begun to tick..  Her medication alone was $200 ..So I'm reaching out to ask please help me to help my mum, the idea that she may lose her home because she can't work to pay her rent, is just unbearable . Mum had her operation last night, she pulled through Thank God. She is currently in the ICU. A blood transfusion was needed today as a few complications arose but it's the first day of a new beginning ❤
