Christmas Eve House Fire - Deck, Barth, & Fowlkes

Donation protected
On Christmas Eve the house where three roommates, Sophie Deck,  Amanda Barth, and Jazmine Fowlkes, were living caught fire and burned.  Fortunately, no people were hurt but, sadly, two cats did not make it.

The house and all of its contents were destroyed.  The three women all worked in theaters in Chicago and were just starting out.  They did not have renter's insurance so they have lost everything.

Nothing is able to be salvaged.

We are reaching out to the community to ask for help in any way possible. Donations are sought to help fund down payments for a new place to live, clothes, furniture, bedding, linens, food, tools for their trade, etc.

Victims of fires face tremendous emotional stress and financial costs, and we hope this fund will help alleviate some of the challenges that these three young women are facing as they try to move and rebuild their lives.

Funds raised by this campaign will be split equally by Sophia, Amanda & Jaz. The funds will help Sophia, Amanda & Jaz find a new place to live and replace the things that were lost in the fire.
The beneficiaries of this fund are  Sophia, Amanda & Jaz and 100% of the funds will go to the young women. The funds will be withdrawn by Sophia's mother, Ashley Deck, in an attempt to manage this fund for the young women during this stressful time in their lives.
