For those of you that do not know me I am Howard, Chris's brother. On February 22, 2019 Chris suffered a major seizure and entered South Side Hospital. It was discovered that after her aggressively fighting stage 4 kidney cancer for the last 16 months she had multiple tumors in her brain.  She was then transferred to Winthrop Hospital on February 28 were they found extensive growth of the cancer in her abdomen and it was determined that she could not tolerate the treatment at this time. The treatment team determined that she would have about 10 days remaining. but most likely it would be less.

Today March 6, 2019 we are working to transfer her to hospice care at The Amsterdame in Port Washington NY to make her final days as comfortable as possible for her.

We are looking for help in the final expenses of the funeral and helping to set up her sons with a place to live as the bank will be taking the house after they find out about her passing.

Chris grew up in Merrick and after a couple of moves on the south shore landed in Lindenhurst 20+ years ago were she was active in the community even joining the woman's auxiliary fire department at one time leaving before she was diagnosed but feeling ill.

Any help that you can give will be greatly appreciated by her sons, me, our family and I know by Chris.
