Christen Blades Education Fund

Christen Blades is a bright and accomplished student, peer and community activist.  She is a bay area native. Christen graduated from FTHCS High School, a private high school in Maryland. Christen through her high school and college years has received many accolades and awards for her contributions to community and her scholastic and athletic achievements. Christen is also author of the book "I write to Inspire, To Create, To Motivate".  Christen is currently on her way to her third year at Bridgewater College majoring in Linguistic and History. 

Christen has been selected for the VFIC Experimental Learning Award.  She was selected from a pool of more than 20 applicants for the short term travel course to Cuba.

We are asking for contributions to help cover the costs of Christen's travel and her day to day needs as she will be responsible for all meals and person necessities.

Christen will be in Cuba for 3 months. During Christen's time in Cuba, she will be studying the language,  culture and History of  Cuba. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Christen and her education goals. Please help us make her dreams a reality. Thank you all for your support
