Chrissy's Kick Cancer's Butt Fund!

Anyone who knows Chrissy Ius knows what a bright, beautiful, loving person she is. The world truly is a better place with her in it to share her warmth and contagious smile.
Last week, my sweet beloved sister, found out some rather difficult news. She has been diagnosed with stage three Colorectal Cancer and will need surgery in the next few weeks on a tumor that's obstructing part of her rectum. After she has recovered from surgery she will undergo six months of Chemotherapy treatment to ensure there are no lingering cancer cells.
Another part of the story and expense is that Chrissy and Mike were hoping to start a family in the near future. However, due to her recent diagnosis she will not be able to get pregnant for at least three years, possibly five, after completing treatment. This news was almost as devastating to Chrissy as learning she has cancer. Because of the location of the tumor and the effects of Chemo Chrissy has chosen to harvest her eggs before beginning Chemotherapy treatment. Once she is through kicking cancers butt and shows no sign of recurrence she can then begin her journey toward Mamahood.
With the funds generously donated we can set Chrissy's mind at ease that treatment as well as her ability to have children of her own one day will be taken care of. We know that times are tight for many folks out there and not everyone can contribute monetarily. We completely understand this and if anyone would like to show support for Chrissy in other ways we will also be setting up a "meal train" so people can bring food for Chrissy and Mike during her recovery. More on this in the near future.
