Chris Palmer

My name is Andy Palmer. My brother, Chris, was just diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
The doctors have basically told him to get his affairs in order. They may try a few procedures to buy him a little bit of time, but he is terminal.
My brother owned Cooter Browns in Frankfort Ky for 16 years during which he staged alot of benefits for people he know that needed help...myself included AND he has played music all over the state of Kentucky at one time or another. He knows alot of folks and has alot of friends...and I'm hoping to reach all of you with this post. He and his wife, Mitsy, need help bad.
He's been sick for quite a while (without knowing it) and trying to work in construction and home improvement, (his profession) which has slowed down alot this time of year, leaving him with little or no work. He is incurring medical costs and treatment and Mitsy is going to have to take a leave of absence from her job to take care of him eventually, leaving no income entering the house. Just like the rest of us, they live paycheck to paycheck and for them, times are hard right now.
I have talked with my brother extensively about his goals, and the only real goal he has before the end of his journey is to make sure that Mitsy is going to be alright. He has no life insurance and, of course, who's going to insure him now?
My goal is to get him enough to cover final expenses, try to get the house paid off (which he's fairly close to doing) and catch up on the bills that are behind while covering all that can be covered of the medical costs. The $50,000 goal I set on here is just a number I came up with to try to get him all the help he needs without a capoff point. (Aiming high.) I don't expect to hit that number, though it would be nice. Anything you can give is appreciated.
My brother means the world to me. He has always been there for me. This is just my way of trying to be there for him. Please help him out.
