Chris Lieberman, the Founder of the Route 66 Marathon and the Co-Founder of Center of the Universe Festival, fell off of a ladder causing a Traumatic Brain Injury and needs your support!
In this video, Chris talks about his plan to be able to walk and drive again so that he can return to organizing and planning Amazing Events for Tulsa’s Community. Chris is now ready for intensive rehab, he took it upon himself to do some research and found REACT in Dallas. We believe this is exactly what he needs to walk unassisted again! They are well known for helping people in wheelchairs to be able to walk again. We toured the facility and met with the staff at REACT. They believe Chris will be able to leave their program having achieved his goals. That being said, we have been exploring options to get him to React in Dallas. With your support, Chris will attend for a minimum of 3 days a week and will have to commute back and forth between Dallas and Tulsa each week. This is going to be a HUGE undertaking for Kim to travel back and forth and find housing and she will also need your and support during this time!
This is the first time that Chris has had hope about his future in a long time!!! It is so important to all of us, Chris and his family, that you all know how appreciative we are for the unwavering support from each of you throughout this journey!
