Most of you know Chris personally and know a lot of what he is going through. Here is a description of some of his health challenges.

Ankylosing Spondylitis - Ankylosing spondylitis (pronounced ank-kih-low-sing spon-dill-eye-tiss), or AS, is a form of arthritis that primarily affects the spine, although other joints can become involved. It causes inflammation of the spinal joints (vertebrae) that can lead to severe, chronic pain and discomfort. AS can also cause inflammation, pain, and stiffness in other areas of the body such as the shoulders, hips, ribs, heels, and small joints of the hands and feet. Sometimes the eyes can become involved (known as iritis or uveitis), and -- rarely -- the lungs and heart can be affected. Which I suffer from all of these. Plus shaking of the hands and burning throughout the lower legs from lack of nerve signals from the spine because of the fusions of the vertebrae in the back.

Here’s how he describes his typical day.
*chronic pain 24/7 like I was in a car accident.
*24/7 fatigue
*can’t stand or sit for more than 10 min without pain
*pain in legs and feet when walking
*shaking and pain in the hands and now curling of the fingers and stiff knuckles
*depression
*loss of memory because my mind is constantly focusing on the pain at any given moment in any part of my body
*hurts to type, can’t hardly write anymore either
*loss of breath because the ribs are fusing due to the AS
*depression
*lack of sleep and night sweats

I will be adding a link to his YouTube Channel when it is live so you can get updates.

All funds will go towards medical bills and living expenses and the bills are starting to come in already.

More to follow as we learn more.

Update From Chris:

During the last 3 months of the 2017 I was doing good with the pain killers, oral daily chemo pills of Mekinist and Taflinar shrunk the 2 tumors on the lower left lung to 3/4 of the original size. Unfortunately, in the beginning of December I come down with an unknown case of walking pneumonia and during my stay in the hospital we performed another MRI identifying numerous new metastasized melanoma tumors. 1 on my stomach, esophagus plus numerous lymph nodes under each armpit. So we made plans to begin Opdivo chemo treatments but before we began in the beginning of January I suffered seizure while walking my dog and in hospital we identified 3 small tumors on my brain.

I am now going through 10 treatments of Radiation and 12 chemo injections of Opdivo. I am still not able to take biologic to control the autoimmune disease pain in my spine, sternum (from the seizure) and overall joint pains. So I am now on Hydrocodone, depression and anxiety, seizure and steroid daily medications.

I have a long journey but I am staying positive and the Lord is on my side.
