The Choudhry house fire relief fund
Jason and Anne own the Wine gallery in Blairstown and have loved being a part of the community for the past 10 years. Their three children, Adam, Tanya and Tara are all in college. They are a close family and all of them have worked hard to stay and maintain what was a beautiful house on top of the mountain.
All of us who know them know that Anne and Jason are very tremendous, generous, giving spirits. They have always enjoyed sharing everything they could with family and friends. Anne gives much of her time to caring for those less fortunate. She volunteers and face paints for needy children and has worked at Willow Glen. Just last week she conected with a network for homeless families and was so excited about being able to serve. Her exact words were, "I have so much, it's time to really get serious about giving back."
With this horrible turn of events, this beautiful family are now the people in need. This site is for those of us who can
help them get back on their feet.
"I am sorry it has taken so long to get back to everyone, understandably, we have been dealing with a lot of insurance needs, phone calls and looking for a rental home. We have found a home to rent and should be moving in on February second.
All the love and prayers have carried us through this tough time. We have been overwhelmed with all the support of so many wonderful people! We are so grateful for all of you! Thank you so much! We love you all!
The Choudhry Family"
We have all succeeded! We reached our goal in less than 4 days! As a result, five people can breathe a bit easier during a very difficult time. Thank you all so much for showering my friends with such love and support. I don't know of any more deserving people. Our friends are both overwhelmed and uplifted by your extreme generosity. We don't have to stop here either, but, please take a moment to congratulate yourselves for being so caring and giving!
WOW!!! I am absolutely amazed and so grateful. Thank you everyone for your kindness. it means the world to us during this tough time. Love to you all
Talked to Anne today and she is in good spirits with all the love and prayers lifting up this family. Keep it coming! Thank you Sam…. I too have lots of extra stuff, from pots/pans to cookbooks, to dishes and glassware. When you need it Anne Connell Choudhry--just say the word.
Freecycle is a great idea. I have given and taken from them. They fairly recently furnished their dining room and added some living room pieces. I'm wondering if the furniture store would consider donating furniture or offering a deep discount.
They should also check out Freecycle.org. I've pretty much furnished my entire house with very nice pieces people gave away for free.
I know its far off but I have window air conditioners
I have a service for 8 of Longaberger stonewear w/ accessory pieces. It is yours if you like.
When they have found a rental, let me know. I have lots of household items I am sure that would be helpful when starting from scratch.
I too have many household items that I would be more than willing to give to them. I am sorry that this happened, but was relieved to hear that your entire family was able to make it to safety.
Like the ladies below me have comment is there a need for other items as well, such as clothing and household items? If we all have stuff we can give them the money being raised can be used for whatever else they need. If anyone in touch with them can let us know that'd be wonderful. We'll all spread the word. A lot of people want to help :) To the family, I'm so sorry you're going through this...
I have many household items and clothing I can donate. God bless your family, and please trust the strength of our wonderful community.
Not sure where your living but I have a dining room set I was looking to sell, your welcome to have, 6 chairs table that seats from 6 to 12 and a China Cabinet
Do they need clothes? I have a bag full of clothes ready to donate that Id much rather give to them.
