Choe Show Family for Harvey Relief

 ATTENTION CHOE SHOW ATTENDEES  AND FANS


From July 12th through August 5th, we were all part of something very special. For many of us, this was a life changing experience. Even if you weren't fortunate enough to attend, David Choe showed us the power of giving back. Now it is time for us to act as a single group, or family. 

Let's come together and show that we care. Any amount you can give will be enough. 100% of these donations are going to go directly to the American Red Cross.

Let's demonstrate that David's immersive art show was more than just something we did, it was something that inspired us.

How about another incentive? I've dug through all of my David Choe related items in order to add something very special to this fundraising campaign. (Sorry, my size 13 Choe Adidas and related clothing items are off the table. You wouldn't want them anyway... trust me.)

What I found is really cool. This is my extra, never played copy of Bobby Trivia's "Into the Limelight" LP. Why extra? Because as a vinyl collector, I tend to buy two of everything. One to play, one to save. Also, I wanted two t-shirts. Is that wrong? 

Here are the details:

Bobby Trivia's Debut Album "INTO THE LIMELIGHT".

The cover features an image of a watercolor painting by David Choe.

The actual physical record has artwork that David scratched into the vinyl on both sides of the master disc.

There currently are only 400 copies of the record available. Once they sell out, it will go in the DVDASA vault, perhaps never to return.

The music on this record will not be published online, only on this free, promotional vinyl record.

The album features spoken word tracks and skits performed by DVDASA favourite Zell.

ONE MORE INCENTIVE! Firstly, we are almost at 40% of our goal. I am so blown away from the generosity of people both known and unknown to me. Secondly, I wanted to add a piece of my own work to the mix, to make it a bit more personal. It is an 18x24 inch collage on canvas. It is made from Turkish and Ottoman newspapers and stamps. I titled it "Suspended." Aside from my dear mother, you will be the first to own one of my collages. It is literally priceless. I hope this helps push us closer to our goal.
