As we are all aware now, Chile is burning.
Over the past weeks, a series of wildfires have devastated forests, homes, families, animals and their habitats, everything... This is the worst fire catastrophe in Chile’s history. Last week, more than 100 separate fires have been recorded burning more than 675,000 acres, more than the area of luxembourg, 3 times bigger than the area of New York.
As the temperatures are rising and no rain is in the forcast, the situation isn't going to get better.
WE CAN HELP THEM.
The more money we will give, the more efficiant they will be to stop the fires and rebuild the country.
100% of your donations will be used to buy firefighting equipment, water supply, animal feed and to recover agricultural loses.
All the funds will be transfered to http://www.desafiolevantemoschile.cl a Chilean NGO in charge of distribute responsibly and efficiently resources in catastrophes like this one.
Myself and the rest of the "Andes Pacifico" (a 5 days mountain bike race in Chile) racers and crew will be riding and raising money to help Chile conquer this situation.
