Hello everyone:

I've just finished writing a children's book. My target readers are children in the age group of 3-9 years as well as the parents/ grandparents/ caregivers, who could read the narrative in the book to them.

The purpose is 2-fold: (a) Narrating a story that is laced with love, affection, morals, ethics, friendship, family ties and connection with others, and (b) Connecting the narrator through their genuine effort towards explaining significant aspects of the story composition, with the young minds.

There is a greater purpose of publishing this book: I wish to donate  a part of the proceeds from the sale of this book - when it gets published-  to Mr Jim Estill's organization in Toronto, Canada: a mild-mannered Canadian CEO of an appliance company - who put up $1.5 million of his own to save 200 Syrian refugees!

I believe that would be a humble contribution that I could make towards bettering the lot of Syrians fleeing from the wrath of war - one refugee at a time!

That is my true motivation, beside my hope to make this story a lifelong and life-lasting reading experience for whoever reads it.

I've shared the story in this book with some friends who have children and definitely know a thing or two about story and the art of story telling. Some of their comments are, 'amazing!", 'beautiful!', 'genuine!', 'pure joy!', 'inspiring!', 'tear-jerking!', etc.

I would like to contribute towards Jim Estill's efforts who is personally i nstrumental in bringing refugees from war-torn Syria and seeing their rehabilitationion in Canada. A part of the proceeds from this book would go to that end.

We all live in real world and it so happens, any kind of publishing is not cheap. The publishers were kind enough to slash their labor cost because they said, they loved the book and the higher purpose behind it. Still, they gave me a final price of $10,953.16.

I can't afford to put this amount upfront to get going and fulfil my covenant toward a great cause. My goal is to raise $5400 for this cause. Hence, I'm reaching out to all of you out there, who could pitch in as much as you can, so that this book can see the light of the day and serve a great cause as I stated above.

Thanks to your continued support, my campaign has achieved 37.5% of the target. But it still has a long way to go!

Please help me reach the goal by sharing the link with your friends and families on the social media and encouraging them to contribute.

No charity is small. But its impact would be huge and, I'll accept your contribution with great appreciation,

Even if you  cannot make a contribution, please spread the word among your friends and families.

Finally, make sure to buy the book when it comes out. Read the excerpt below. You will be making a priceless contribution to a great cause!!

Thank You and God Bless,

There was a king.

He had a name. But everyone knew him as Sultan.

Sultan had a huge kingdom – as far as the eyes could see.

He ruled over a large number of people.

Nobody really knew how many people lived in his country.

But one thing everyone knew.

He treated all with kindness and affection.

He made them feel special by his warmth and love.

He never wronged anyone.

He was a just king.

He was a generous king.

There was plenty of food and clean water.

There was safety and protection.

People respected and loved the king very much.

They were loyal to him.

His kingdom had everything.

There were schools and colleges.

There were universities and hospitals.

There were workshops and newspapers.

There were hotels, restaurants and café.

There were garages and gas stations.

There were laboratories and libraries.

There were factories and bakeries.

There were flower shops and nurseries.

There were barns and potteries.

There were parks, canyons and planetariums.

There were museums, geysers and gymnasiums.

There were apple orchards and aquariums.

There were pumpkin patches and stadiums.

There were roller-coasters, studios and zoos.

And Islands with baboons, giraffe and moose.
