Malawi Project For Children

Dambuzo recently had both legs amputated by thugs with a machete, all to steal his bicycle.  He now desperately needs an all-terrain wheelchair as there are no paved roads.  The hospital loaned him a wheelchair after surgery but they took it back after a couple of weeks as they need it for other patients.

Jeanette is also immobile and suffers from a degenerative disease.  She needs a wheelchair to reclaim her life and her freedom.

The children of Malawi cannot go to school unless they have uniforms.  They cost only fifteen dollars per child annually.  

Mosquito nets would also save these children from malaria and keep them healthy and save their lives as medicine is scarce.  These nets cost thirty dollars each.  

These are just a few examples whereby small dollar items can make a huge difference...

Mosquito repellant, nets, wheelchairs, crutches, basic medical supplies can save hundreds of children and give them a chance.  We can do this together!

My name Silvia De Salles. I am the president of The Healing Squad, a 501 (c) (3) organization. I am joining Gibson Tandwe who recently created a Malawi based non-profit called Association for Disabled, Children and Elderly Development.

It is our mission to bring these supplies to Malawi and breathe life back into this beautiful country and the very beautiful people who live there.

Every cent that we raise will be used to purchase the following items:
Wheelchairs, Crutches, School Uniforms, Mosquito Nets & repellant, Sunscreen Lotion, and much more...

We are also reaching out to hospitals and drug manufacturers in order to gather donations of malaria vaccines, medication to treat malaria, Epi Pens, antibiotics, bandages, etc.

A small donation will change lives.  Do the right thing and give these beautiful children and people a chance so they can educate themselves and ultimately help themselves.  A little help from us is all they need to get started!
