Hi everyone! I am interning at the Chico Community Children's Center. This program is a non profit, state funded program dedicated to providing a positive environment to children effected by poverty.
My goal is to help children in poverty as they are more likely to suffer from chronic-illnesses and malnutrition partly stemming from poor-health decisions, and a lack of physical activity.
100% of donations with go towards:
Planting a winter garden to promote healthy eating/ food choices (buying soil, seeds, gardening tools)
Purchasing more reliable outdoor equipment (balls, goals, nets) to promote outdoor activities.
