Chickens and eggs for Congo Kids

Donation protected
The people on Idjwi Island in eastern Congo are among the poorest in the world, and life expectancy there is among the lowest in the world (25 years according to Amani Global Works). Protein deficiency is extremely high among children and pregnant women, causing severe health problems. We can greatly improve the health and lifespan of the people through our Poultry Project. The project will achieve several things - provide free eggs to those most in need, supply chickens and poultry training to families, provide work and income to local people. We've already bought the land and nearly completed the construction of a large poultry house. But we urgently need funds to complete the building, to buy the materials and necessary veterinary supplies , and to pay salaries to local people. I have visited the island several times over the past 10 years with my Congolese friend Kizungu (Founder and Director of the registered NGO Volunteers in Mission for Children Care), and seen the extreme poverty and malnutrition suffered by the people, and I wanted to do something  to alleviate some of that suffering, and give these people a longer life and a better quality of life. The poultry project can help to do that, and you can help the poultry project through your donation!
