As everyone is more than aware Trail Hunting is an adrenalin fuelled  sport which carries a huge risk. Unlike other equestrian sports we don't have the luxury of an ambulance waiting to pick us off the floor.

After recent events and discussion with the Masters I would like to put together a decent trauma kit that can be carried on the back of the quad. The bag would be out as much as possible and freely available to all on a good samaritan basis.

I hold a 'First Person On Scene Intermediate' qualification, The same qualification as NHS community responders and I'm aware there are a few other medically trained hunt subscribers.

Please note that there will be no medical insurance held and we will always ask the casualty or the next of kins permission before assisting.

I am in discussions with SP Medical Services who are putting together an equestrian specific bag. A basic veterinary kit will be added to the bag so we can help where we can with your best friends aliments as well.

Medical supplies are not cheap and a decent trauma kit with a defibrillator will be around £1500. I will put together the best kit I can for the money raised, any surplus funds will be kept to resupply the bag when needed.
