Russell's Roving Reporters
Chester is Cool is committed to helping students develop leadership skills and effective communication through the use of digital literacy. This is accomplished through our Russell’s Roving Reporter program, online resources, and community outreach.
Russell’s Roving Reporters provides a digital media production curriculum designed for elementary and middle schools. It provides leadership, team building, effective communication, and critical thinking skills. It has been implemented successfully for 15 years at Silver Ridge Elementary in Davie Florida. This program also provides marketing for schools created by students. It also provides an outlet for students to showcase their work.
We are seeking funding to support over 1 million students by 2024. This will be accomplished by designing a digital curriculum, and support for schools and nonprofit organizations. Your contribution will support our marketing, staffing, and production of our digital curriculum.
