Chess tournaments!

I'm a medical student trying to raise money for my chess tournament addiction. It has recently caused significant financial distress so I'm hoping to leave my food and rent money alone and only play tournaments if I raise funds!
I know for some people it seems like chess is merely a game but for me it's really an escape and a magical world where my stresses and strains vacate my mind and I can focus on something stimulating outside myself - having nothing to do with clothes and makeup and #1st world problems :)
It also excites me that communities can contribute to our life goals...it reminds me of villages from the past.

I know, the fonts and colors are so weird the first time you see them. Almost all chess tournament pages look weird like that. It's its own culture :)
