Step Up For Cheryl Homan

On Friday, March 10, 2017, my good friend Cheryl Homan was in a terrible car accident while driving in Trail, BC, 4 hours away from her home in Kelowna.
After the efforts of Rescue Crews, Cheryl was rushed to Trail Hospital, where she was found to have many injuries, including broken bones and extensive damage to her right foot.
Today, Friday, March 31, Day 20 of Cheryl's recovery, she is still in hospital after going through a number of surgeries, with the possibility of more in the future. At this point, we don't know when Cheryl will even be well enough to go home.
Cheryl's road to recovery will be long, and the process of healing will be physically, mentally and emotionally draining.
During this time, Cheryl won't be able to work, and the stress and pressure of financial responsibilities weigh heavily upon her.
My friend Cheryl is an amazing woman, and I hate to see her in this position. I can't do anything to help her heal faster, but with your help, I hope to relieve her of some of the financial stress, so she can focus on getting better.
We are uncertain of how long she'll be in hospital, or how long she'll be off her feet once she goes home, but we do know she's looking at several months at the bare minimum.
Because of Cheryl's passion for music and connections in the music industry, many of her musician friends have pulled together and will be offering a Fundraising Raising Concert at the Little Red Church in Comox, May 7, 2017. More information will be posted here as we sort the details.
