I'm Cherry Skye, an alternative published model, camgrrrl and content creator, I'm 37 and live in Hampshire, UK.

I'm scheduled to have an elective hysterectomy on Saturday 17th January 2026, something that I've been fighting for since I was 21 years old due to severe tokophobia (a fear of, for me at least, everything from periods to conception). I was sterilised at age 29 after a prolonged battle with the NHS but, to have the full hysterectomy I so desperately need for my own mental peace, I've been forced to go private.

Thankfully this means that I have a great surgeon/team on my side but, unfortunately, means that I've had to pay to get my surgery done. Luckily, I qualified for finance of £8,500 but still have the £1,000 deposit to find before the 10th January 2026.

I've been saving hard and working harder, clearing out my closet and belongings (something that was long overdue in all honesty) and, finally, something I find amazingly hard to do, asking for help... And now I'm here as a way of doing that.

I don't like to be so openly vulnerable, I like to always be 'The Strong One™' but I'm still not at my goal yet and I really am struggling to take the ongoing, ever-looming stress of it any longer without sharing why I may have been a little more quiet/distant than I would've liked recently.

Just to further complicate things, I have a second elective surgery to get 'the girls' lifted/augmented in mid April 2026 that I also need to raise funds for but that will be equally as life changing to me, both mentally and physically, but I'm aware that I have an up to 12-14 week recovery from my hysterectomy so work/content/and the like will take time to come back to, plus I have some really big personal changes going on - hopefully for the better but more on that another time - so any monies raised over and above the initial £1,000 deposit for my hysterectomy, if we're able to achieve auch miracles, will be used to see me through on living expenses whilst I recover/evolve and add to the kitty of money for April and after.
