Cheri Myers Medical Expense

As some of you may know a wonderful friend Cheri Myers, is battling cancer. Cheri is a devoted wife, mother and daughter.
On December 22nd, she awakened with a headache and blurred vision. After several visits with her physician and specialists and a few trips to Duke University Hospital, Cheri was diagnosed with melanoma cancer of the eye. A few days later she went in for surgery and her surgeon had to completely remove one of her eyes. The good news is, all of the cancer that was in her eye was removed. Her physicians decided to do more testing after finding several spots on her liver and lungs. Last week Cheri received the devastating news that she has Adenocarcinoma cancer that has began in her stomach and has progressed to her liver, lungs and uterus. She is currently awaiting an appointment with an oncologist and another surgeon to find out what the next steps will be.
Our hearts are broken that such a sweet, wonderful lady is having to go through such tragedy. Cheri has always been such a caring person and willing to help everyone that came her way. Her life revolves around her three amazing boys and her husband, Jonathon. I know Cheri is a fighter and will fight to be with her family.
Cheri has obviously been unable to work so one less income is starting to take a toll on this family. Jonathon has had to take days off to be with his wife at doctors appointments and surgery/recovery. Traveling to Duke University Hospital a few times a week, having to lodge there some nights and not to mention her medical expenses, are starting to add up quickly. We first ask that you keep Cheri and her family in your prayers. They all need love and support during this time.
