Cheri Chance Wildfire Fund

Hello everyone. My mom, Cheri Chance, lost her house and horse barn in the recent wildfires that destroyed 9 homes North of Hutchinson, Kansas. I was unable to be there for her during the destruction, as I currently live in Ohio. I'm immediately flying in to assist emotionally and with clean up efforts. I'm asking for help for her to make sure she is able to rebuild her life. She spent most of her adult life serving our country by supporting our brave soldiers. She retired as a Master Sergeant. I would like to help her now that she is in need, as she has always unwaveringly been there for me in times of tribulation. 

I'm having a difficult time writing this request, since it was the house that I grew up in during my entire childhood. Everything in the home was destroyed, including family photos and items that are not able to be replaced. 


My mom was alerted to evacuate early this week with little forewarning. Miraculously, my mom's horses were spared from the incredible flames that consumed her home and barn. Unfortunatley, her dog, Oreo, is still missing. Here is his photo below, in case anyone around the area has seen him.


Any amount of giving will help and be greatly appreciated. She will be using the money to offset any losses that are not covered with her insurance, and to weather this unexpected storm. Thank you for taking the time to engage her story.
