CHD Hospital Stay Expenses

Our youngest daughter was born in May 2018 with complicated Congenital Heart Defects and Hetertotaxy Syndrome. She was in the hospital for 9.5 weeks after birth (open heart surgery at 4.5 hrs old), 6 days in August (ER visit led to), 6 days in September (Cath procedure and recovery from) and most recently was admitted 10/14 (ER visit led to, immediate transfer from local hospital to Boston Children's) and will not be discharged until recovery from second open heart surgery (anticipating 10 weeks or more recovery time period).

Dad will be staying with her for the duration of her stay this time. We would appreciate some assistance with paying for meals, gas/toll costs for frequent travel to and from Boston (mom visiting, dad and mom switching off, dad going to school classes in CT etc), miscellaneous hospital expenses that come up and insurance will not cover, and occasional accommodation costs (so big sister can come visit her baby sister).

This assistance would help reduce financial stress of the situation as we are a young family and currently using money we were using to pay off debt from this past year (past hospital stays, travel during pregnancy to special drs etc) and save for the out of pocket insurance costs we will be hit with next year early on due to our multiple weekly and regular doctor/nurse/specialty provider visits and Laura's special care (entral feedings etc).
