CHCN Playground Memorial Fund

Phase I is dedicated to the memory of Verda M. Chambers who passed away from cancer January 20, 2018. Verda was a CHCN member and donated much of her time serving the church and her community.
With your help we can create the Canadian Hills Church of the Nazarene (CHCN) Community Playground for our children. It's not only for us, but all communities around us will benefit also. CHCN is fortunate to have a large outdoor space to dedicate for a community playground where children can safely run, jump, and play! We want to make this area even better by adding playground equipment enclosed by vinyl-coated chain link fencing.
Proposed Lot Size
CHCH raised more than $2900 in garage sales to help fund this project.
Anticipated playground set and material cost: $11,000
•Playground set from Sam’s Club: $1,500
•Materials for slide platform: $1,000
•Vinyl coated chain link fence: $6,500
•Mulch and boarder timbers around playground set: $2,000
Remaining funds required to complete Phase I: $8,100
Our goal is to complete the playground by spring 2018.
